Dr. Kaytee Brenes

Kaytee Brenes, DVM

Dr. Brenes is excited to be able to serve the local Laguna Beach community!

She grew up in Mission Viejo before attending UC Berkeley for Undergrad, and UC Davis School of veterinary medicine. She then completed a 1 year medical and surgical internship at VCA West Los Angeles to further her skills in medicine and surgery.

She transitioned to owning a practice in south Orange County for many years before branching out to work at local specialty hospitals and emergency rooms for the last 5 years. She is very comfortable and experienced with routine and emergency procedures, including surgery.

In her off time, she lives with her family, including kids, Great Dane and Scottish fold cat. She loves to travel, cook and read.

She used to show Great Danes throughout undergrad and veterinary school, so understands show breeders. She has also worked with many breed specific issues, and has contacts with local specialists if help is needed.
